Vertmont Organic Pure 100% Canadian Maple Syrup.
A natural sweetener with a rich toffee taste, the perfect accompaniment with pancakes, ice cream, yoghurt, waffles, muffins, cereal or fruit salads.
Also, enhances the taste of salad dressings and as a harmless flavouring in hot or cold drinks.
Vertmont? What's that supposed to imply, that the syrup comes from the American state of Vermont? And if that's the implication, then how is it supposed to be 100% Canadian Maple Syrup? We're Canadian, and we know what authentic Canadian Maple Syrup tastes like, as we've been using it all our lives, and as well, my father was raised in a family that had their own maple sugar bush. and he knew his Maple Syrup, that's for sure. Vertmont Maple Syrup doesn't come close to real Maple Syrup. But then I suppose it's not surprising that many seem to like it, if they haven't ever tasted the real thing.
I love this maple syrup! The bottle's pretty cute too
This syrup is delicious! We like to heat it up slightly on the stove and then pour it over pancakes or waffles while it is still warm. Yum!
I absolutely love this maple syrup. It tastes wonderful on pancakes. I prefer it to sugar and lemon which is what we always used at home when I was growing up.

Summary: This is a relatively quick and easy way to make a heavenly chocolate pudding!
Summary: Recipe entered in our October 2014 Real Free-From Baking Competition by Laura Atkinson. Grain free, Dairy free, Vegan (use maple syrup or your favourite vegan liquid sweetener instead of honey)
Summary: This Christmas, even sprouts-haters will love this recipe for delicious maple syrup caramelised brussels sprouts, coupled with chestnuts. You could of course substitute the maple syrup for another vegan liquid sweetener such as agave syrup, coconut nectar or brown rice syrup, but we like maple syrup for its traditional Christmas-y flavour. If you don't have or don't like chestnuts, you could use pre-cooked chickpeas instead, as they are equally chewy and satisfying.
