About Organic Millet Flakes
Millet grows extremely quickly and can flourish in the most extreme conditions. As far as its nutritional value is concerned it closely resembles our oats. In Africa and elsewhere it is also used to brew beer. Millet is rich in iron and minerals, particularly silicon. It also contains less harmful gluten. Millet flakes are cooked very quickly in just seven minutes and standing is not necessary. Add to other flakes for a varied breakfast cereal. Delicious with fresh fruit and yoghurt.

These millet flakes are brilliant for adding to home made muesli. I also enjoy using them in gluten free bread. It is so much more satisfying to bake from scratch rather than using a gluten free mix.
