Animal friendly toiletries

Avalon Organics         Hain Celestial Group  "We share your concern that animals not be used to test cosmetics, toiletries and household products. We do not test our products or ingredients on animals, nor do we ask others to do so for us. Furthermore, we require that all our ingredient suppliers meet the same criteria of no animal testing."

Bulldog Natural Skincare       Private Company        "No Bulldog products are ever tested on animals and we also monitor our entire supply chain to ensure that none of our partners are conducting tests on the ingredients we use. Ingredients derived from animal sources are widely used in personal care products, which is fairly gross. We use vegetable oils like, coconut, and sunflower and their derivatives instead of animal-based options."

From the Burts Bees Website: "We commit to the highest standards of free trade and working conditions in the sourcing of our products. We also pledge to never test our ingredients or products on animals."

From the Clorox Website: "Using nonanimal product safety evaluations is the norm at Clorox and animal testing is the exception — the vast majority of our products reach the market without testing on animals… We do not conduct or cause third-parties to conduct any animal testing on products, raw materials or components of finished products unless required by federal or local regulators… We will not license our name or the name of any of our brands to formulations of products that have been tested on animals… We will not acquire or purchase product formulations or other products for use in our consumer products that have been tested on animals (except when such testing was done to meet the requirements of federal, state, local or other applicable regulations)."
